Another one is the Thuy Thach motel, an affordable option for those who just want to throw down their luggage and dive right in to the exploration. A bit further into the island is the Phuoc Loc Guesthouse if you are looking for a more local experience. Standing 6km away from the pier, this would be considered a top choice for those who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of the jetty. Another option if you want a peaceful stay but still close to the ocean would be the Hoang Thong motel, located right on the Ben Dinh port. The place offers spectacular views of the sea and a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere.
Private swimming pools or recreational centers are clearly not things you will find in these options. But of course, a comfortable bed, functioning air-conditioner and strong internet would probably be enough for backpackers. In general, prices in these motels will not exceed 600,000VND per night, but do expect slight increases during holiday periods.
