Newly opened in April this year, Cộng’s branch in Cầu Gỗ adds to the list of Hoan Kiem Lake view cafés another lovely destination. Easily spot from the street, the coffee shop can be reached at once instead of taking a short journey through loads of stairs as those mentioned above.

This is my favorite coffee shop whenever I wanna spend time admiring the city’s heart beauty. Located in Hàng Khay, a less crowded and busy street, L’etage cafe makes me fall for it at once by the lovely view from balcony to the street panoramic view but also Hoan Kiem Lake. L’etage café means “café on the second floor” in French, and it is on the upstair of an old house in reality. Coming here on a cold day, enjoying a cup of hot egg coffee is definitely an unforgettable experience for you.

Kaffeine or Kaffeine Retro Style cafe is the one that lives its name through the design but also the ambiance. Owning the interior with deep tone backing to the 1960s, Kaffeine is where you could find many lots of old-fashioned things: tables remade from such old sewing machines, rare bronze fans or ranges of radios, telephones, motorbike models.
