One day in Sapa
It must be a great experience when you have a chance to visit beautiful land Sapa. However, if you have only one day here, these are some suggestions of what can do there:
- 5:30 AM: On your way from Lào Cai to Sapa, take a minute to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the mount of Cốc San slope on Highway 4D Lào Cai – Sapa.
- 7:30 AM: Arrive at Sapa and check in your hotel or home-stay.
- 8:00 AM: Breakfast at your hotel.
- 9:00 AM: Visit Cát Cát Village of the Mông Tribe. Here you can learn about the traditional customs of the tribe, Mông architectures as well as the great French hydroelectric fall and enjoy Cát Cát music show.
- 11:30 AM: Go to Mường Hoa Valley (3km away). There is Gem Valley Café on the way so you can drop by and enjoy some good drinks. When you arrive at the valley, take your time to go to Mường Hoa stream, the Ancient Stone Field and visit some local houses.
- 1:00 PM: Go to Tả Van Village (8km far away, about 30 minutes). You should take the Lao Chải road in order to pass through the beautiful Lao Chải Village. After visiting Tả Van, you can go to Mường Hoa Restaurant and Home-stay to enjoy some special dishes of the area.
- 3:00 PM: Return to your hotel and have a rest.
- 4:00 PM: Go shopping. You can go to the Love Market or some others in the region to buy brocades, fruits or souvenirs and have some snacks.
- 6:00 PM: Go back to your hotel, have a shower then prepare to have dinner. Depending on the area that you stay, you can go to Sapa Cuisine Market on Xuân Viên Street, Sapa Lotus at #34 Cầu Mây Street or Thắng Cố A Quỳnh and so on.
- 8:00 PM: Wander around the street and drop by the Bamboo Bar at #18 Mường Hoa Street to experience one of the most interesting bars in Sapa.
